Hike of a Lifetime
What is Hike of a Lifetime?
Hike of a Lifetime was designed to take a Hiker to a specific “Bucket List” location or on an adventure they would never be able to do on their own. (not accessible by car or wheelchair)
Who?
Hike of a Lifetime is open to anyone with mobility challenges that meet the criteria. Hikers must have a doctor’s permission to go on the Hike of a Lifetime and must be accompanied by a caregiver at all times. Hikers will be limited to one Hike of a Lifetime.
When?
Luke5Adventures will be limiting the number of Hike of a Lifetime requests per year. Requests must be made at least six months in advance.
Where?
Anywhere we’re able to go! Make the request and we will go from there.
What will it Cost?
The Hiker's family will be responsible for raising the money to go on the trip. The cost will be determined by the location, number of Sherpas needed and any reservations/special equipment needed. Cost will cover Luke5Adventure's team travel and all expenses including gas, food and lodging. The Luke5Adventures staff will endeavor to aid in this process by helping to seek out donors, grants, fundraising suggestion, etc., but the responsibility ultimately rests on the family. A non-refundable deposit will be required once the request has been accepted.
